MEGA Fuse

MEGA strip fuse for main battery and alternator circuits. The standard high current bolt-down fuse for a DC main, rated well beyond what a blade fuse can safely interrupt.

Bolt-down fixing on 8mm centres. Fit it in a MEGA holder, not in free air, and always within 180mm of the battery positive terminal unless the run is in conduit.

Choose a rating above the maximum continuous load but below the current rating of the cable protecting it. If you are unsure, the cable rating is the ceiling, not the target.
